YEIDA i.e. the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is going to offer the possession of about 11,000 residential plots falling under its jurisdiction. These land parcels are plotted in sizes of 200, 300 to 1,000 square metres and will be delivered to the allottees by 30th June 2019.
The authority will hand-over possession letters to 5,500 allottees by 31st March and the other 4,500 beneficiaries will get the possession letter by 30th June 2019.
According to the officials, the possession of these plots was scheduled to offer in 2014 but got delayed by five years due to various legal cases and disputes. These plots belong to the Residential Plot Scheme 1 and 2 [RPS 1 and 2] of the year2009 and are located in sectors 18 and 20 under the YEIDA jurisdiction. These allotments are next due of Residential Plot Scheme 1 and 2 as the authority offered possession of 4,317 residential plots in October and in December 2018, the authority handed-over possession of 5,008 under the same scheme.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority also plans to bring new scheme in 2019 under which the allotment will be offered for shops, malls, plazas, crèches, nursing homes and hospitals.
Also, tenders will be floated for the allotment of nursing homes and hospitals.
Arun Veer Singh, CEO, YEIDA, said that the authority will give away possession letters of more than 11,000 plots under RPS 1 and 2 in March and June 2019 in locales where registries are done or are underway. He further said that according to the new scheme YEIDA is planning to allot institutional plots for petrol pumps, schools, malls, plazas, crèches, senior citizens’ home, nursing home, hospitals and more. All these plots will fall in the commercial areas of sectors 18 and 20.
YEIDA CEO said that we are hoping to generate revenue of Rs. 186 crores as the 64th board meeting of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority sanctioned allotment of 7 fuel pumps and 12 hotels in the commercial areas of Sectors 29, 30, 31 and 32.
He also informed that the hotel scheme is currently on hold as the same will be initiated after the floating of global tender for the Jewar airport. This action is taken to avoid a clash between the hotel and Jewar airport project.
Apart from this, YEIDA plans to introduce another scheme in February in which small plots covering an area of 60-90 metre will be allotted to offer advantage to small investors.
