Also, the citizens are now needless to visit the office of a sub-registrar to get certified hard copies or to know about the calculation of property prices.

Karnataka State Chief Minister, HD Kumaraswamy launched Kaveri Online Services, which is also a one-stop portal for all property and marriage registration-related services. This online platform of stamps and registration department allows online registration of properties and also offers free downloading of property registration documents that also includes certified sale deeds and encumbrance certificates.

According to the statement released by the Revenue Department nine multiple services will be available on this portal.

Earlier, this month, the Karnataka state started online service for land conversion. Now the residents here can apply for conversion of land from agricultural to non-agricultural just at a click of a mouse and this digital move has also shortened the procedure between the landowners and revenue authorities.

RV Deshpande, Karnataka’s Revenue Minister said that the decision to introduce online system for land conversion was taken due to the increase in complaints by the landowners about the harassment and delay made by the revenue offices. Earlier, the landowners had to face bribery issue and the revenue department at the same time to get their land conversion process completed in the least time possible.
