The Noida Authority made it compulsory for all the property owners including individuals and commercial, to register their property on its website from November 1. This is an initiative to by the authority to go digital by providing online property services to the residents. All the property owners will be given an Allottee-Unique Identity number (KYA-UID) that will help the citizens to track their property details and status of the same online.
According to the Noida Authority, an allottee/property holder can upload form along with his/her ID proof and a scanned copy of allotment/transfer letter on the website from November 1. After uploading all documents, the allottee will get a KYA-UID number which will help him/her find the property details from then onwards.
Rajesh Kumar Singh, officer on special duty, Noida Authority, said that all property related services including sale and purchase, will become online. He further said that this online system is a part of our Property Management Information System (PMIS), which is scheduled to start from November 1.
The officer also said that this is process to initiate digital authentication of an allottee/ owner’s property and is a step to bring in transparency to make authority a paperless office. Although there is no clarity given by the authority on when the entire process will get completed.
The individual property owners can get their documents such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license or passport scanned and uploaded as a proof of identity. Similarly, the organizations/institutions, proof of identity can be the company’s PAN card, registrar of companies’ certificate (ROC) or GST registration certificate can be scanned.
Apart from this, the allottees have to upload a scanned copy of their allotment/transfer or mutation letter whereas the organizations can upload their Change in Constitution letter.
The Noida Authority can be reached at a helpline number 9818821433 in case the property owner(s) face any difficulty in the registration procedure. This online process will also minimize the fraud that takes place in the sale or purchase of a property as the property owner will receive an SMS alert within minutes of any change that takes place in his/her property details, the special officer said.
