  1. Mumbai

The capital city of Maharashtra is believed to be the most expensive real estate market in the entire Asia region. But, the emergence of suburbs in the city has open getaways to the affordable sector. Thus, the Non-resident Indian can plan investment in Panvel, Asangaon and Khopli. The Panvel locality offers budget-friendly 1 BHK apartments whereas the NRI investors can plan investment in the other two locales as they offer bigger housing units in the affordable segment only. The non-resident Indians can opt for making an investment here as the dwelling units under affordable housing here ranges between Rs. 17 lakh and Rs. 22 lakhs.

  1. Bhiwadi

This is an emerging affordable locality in the national capital region and thus the NRIs having their roots close to Delhi, Haryana and even Punjab can look at this area as a smart investment option. An investment in Bhiwadi starts at Rs. 16 lakh. This is a perfect investment destination for the non-resident Indians as there are multiple affordable housing projects sponsored by the Haryana Urban Development Authority [HUDA].

The Yamuna Expressway is also one of the prime locations to offer affordable homes. In fact, YEIDA i.e. the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Authority has drawn the Master Plan 2021 and plans to have small and compact affordable homes while offering basic amenities like educational institutions hospitals, shopping arcades and congestion-free connectivity to the area. This location is the extended part of the national capital region and here also the investment opportunity for the NRIs starts from Rs. 17 lakhs and the same can go upto Rs, 31 lakhs.

This IT city has its own charm, the breathtaking view of the hills and the beautiful weather makes life amazing here. Hence, the non-resident Indians prefer this calm and scenic city to invest in. The Pune city has both the luxury and affordable homes in a huge number. The areas such as Chikhali, Pisoli, Kasar Amboli, and Yewaliwadi offer affordable housing in the price bracket of Rs. 25 lakh and Rs. 34 lakh. This city of the Maharashtra state has multiple affordable housing projects at the construction level.

  1. Bengaluru

This IT hub down south is also home to multiple affordable housing projects. The urban development here is paving the way to get rid of the congestion and traffic jams on the road. Apart from this, the NRI investors have the option to plan investment in the Bengaluru city within a budget ranging between Rs. 16 lakhs in Attibele to Rs. 31 lakhs in Jalahali areas.

According to a report, approximately 57 percent of the new residential projects fall under the price bracket of Rs. 50 lakhs nearly 16 percent of the housing projects fall in the price range of Rs. 25 lakhs.
