The Noida authority is planning to have an online property portal soon as it will ease the payment of property related bills. Till now, the property owners in the city were required to wait in a long-queue but this is soon going to be over as the Noida authority is also planning to join the digital movement of introducing a digital payment method where owners can pay their utility bills.
According to the sources, the authority and SBI [State Bank of India] are in the final stage of developing an online platform for the same. The online portal will be ready within two months for making payment of water bills, sewage charges along with the online payments of lease agreements for all including the homebuyers, developers, businesses and the brokers. The property owners of Noida will get their bills and tax calculated easily and the payment for the same will also become easier than ever.
The authority is keen on keeping the financial records in a digital manner or each and every property that fall under the city’s jurisdiction. Also, all property transactions including residential, commercial, institutional and group housing will also go in records digitally.
The manually kept property records cause problems while recovering dues and the authority and property owners, both have to face huge problems to get the issues cleared. An official said that the launch of an online property system will resolve all issues related to property payments.
Earlier the Noida authority directed all the property owners to get their rental properties registered with the department as the unregistered properties in the city will face the legal action.
