The Noida authority plans to organize online auction for 259 properties from 19th till 23rd July. All these plots are located in developed sectors and most of them are already allotted. The unsold and vacant plots in multiple sectors will be listed for online auction.

This process will help in revenue generation as the authority doesn’t have much land to sell.

Avneesh Kumar, OSD, Noida Authority said that the applicants who will apply for the plots till 8th July and will complete all the formalities can only participate in the auction.

In December last year, the authority held online auction to sell land and nearly 440 plots in multiple locations like sectors 12, 31, 33, 39, 47, 48, 49, 51, 52, 55, 70, 72, 93B, 99, 100, 105 and 122. This time also, the plots that remained unsold in the last auction will be up for sale.

The plot sizes range between 100 sqm to 500 sqm and the cost for the same varies from Rs. 55,000 per sqm to Rs. 1 lakh per sqm. The property cost is highest in Sector 44 are highest and lowest in Sector 122.

The applicants are supposed to register themselves between 17th June and 8th July to receive user identity number and password for the residential plots scheme.

In October 2013, the Noida authority announced e-auction of commercial plots across various sectors. The authority planned online auction of plots in a digital manner for the first time.

The officials at authority said at these commercial plots are available across sectors 1, 12, 16, 18, 20, 22, 27, 31, 36, 39, 40, 52, 58, 63, 64, 65, 69, 70, 71, 80, 82 and 84A Hosiery complex. Interested buyers can apply through the Authority-hired e-auction agency — by generating a user id and password.
