The receiver-appointed by the Supreme Court has recently directed the Noida Authority to execute the registry of 454 flats in Amrapali Sapphire Phase 1, located in Sector 45. R Venkatramani, the receiver informed that the document verification procedure has been completed for these apartments.
In total, there are 1033 home buyers in Sapphire I.
Earlier in July, the court omitted the Amrapali Group from its residential projects by canceling the company’s RERA registration along with land lease deeds. The receiver has taken the command from this point and the Supreme Court has asked NBCC- a state-owned firm to complete the projects.
The owners of Sapphire I have lined up firstly for the registration process and so far, 42,000 flats are sold under various projects and approximately 14,000 are currently occupied by the homebuyers.
The homebuyers are happy with the development as the registration process is finally being carried out. However, they are keen to know what’s written in the Tripartite Agreement before signing the legal document. On this agreement, the buyer seeks clarity from the court.
Prior to this, the Greater Noida GNIDA i.e. the Greater Noida Authority conducted the verification process of Amrapali Castle following the decision passed by the Supreme Court sometime back. The highest court had ordered verification of the records for registry of home buyers who are waiting for the possession of their respective housing units in Amrapali Castle projects situated in Greater Noida.
Out of 106 home buyers, 65 homebuyers received their verified documents while the remaining 41 home buyers seek information on the same.
Till now, the documents of a total 146 home buyers’ have been checked and GNIDA has had organized the same camps on 3rd, 4th and 5th October to complete the verification work as directed by the Supreme Court.
