The Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority i.e. PUDA plans to offer online service and access to the property owners across the state. Various special development authorities and agencies have given their support for the creation of details like USER ID along with the registered mobile number of the property owners, a spokesperson said.
The authority plans to offer all the latest property related information to the property owners via a Short Message Service [SMS] once the beneficiaries get USER ID and are registered along with their mobile numbers.
The introduction of online property service will keep the beneficiaries updated about the recent happenings such as the status of their applications that are submitted in various governmental agencies and they can also know about the pending issues related to their property.
The agencies have also begun the procedure for updating the details of allottees/owners in their property ledgers according to the information records. The allottees will also get the option to register their mobile numbers soon after the creation of user ID before June 30, 2019 and this can be done by visiting the agency portal.
The updation process in the system will allow the correction in name and other details. However, the allottees cannot avail the online property services in the State with a registered mobile number and a USER ID.
