The Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha State Government has decided to construct housing complex under the affordable housing project here in the State. The project will begin under the Private Public Partnership [PPP] model and will build more than 450+ residential units in the Kalinga Nagar Development Authority in Jajpur district of the Odisha State. All these homes will be allotted to the Economically Weaker Section [EWS] of the society.
According to Padhi, State Secretary said that this step is a major blow to the infrastructural development of Kalinga Nagar Development Authority (KNDA). Also, the decision to build housing project under the Affordable housing project construct affordable housing has been granted in the first-ever meeting of the Empowered Committee which is formed on the issue of Comprehensive Development Plan.
The State Secretary also expressed his concern over the illegal encroachment of Government land in the area by the locals here in the Kalinga Nagar Development Authority [KNDA]. This affordable housing project will be developed in Upargar Mouza under Vaysanaga Tehsil.
