NHB i.e. National Housing Bank granted subsidy of Rs. 176 crores to the Aadhar Housing Finance under CLSS [Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme]. The company recently shared this information.

Now, the amount of this subsidy is going to be transferred into the loan account of the customers and this will help in diminishing their monthly installments.

The Aadhar housing received and transferred the subsidy to nearly 10,000 families.

PMAY –Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna is the flagship programme of the NDA-led Union Government who aims to offer housing for all by 2022. This scheme was launched in the year 2015. Earlier last year, Hardeep Singh Puri, holding the portfolio of the Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs had said that the Government is stated that the Union Government will meet its target of offering housing to all by the said date.

He also said that the work on PMAY is going at a fast pace and required number of units are being sanctioned at regular intervals.

The housing department of the Maharashtra Government recently gave nod to develop all residential units of Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna according to the Public Private Partnership [PPP] Model.

This decision is directed to be implemented in all municipal corporation of the Maharashtra state.
