In the recently held meeting between the NBCC [National Building Construction Company] and the homebuyers, the State-owned firm promised to offer the possession of all Jaypee Infratech flats within three years.
The meeting between the two parties was held at the Scope Convention Centre.
Earlier, the company submitted a time period of 4-5 years for the construction of all projects according to their development status to the NCLT [National Company Law Tribunal] Although, the National Building Construction Company revised their timeline to develop stalled projects after the meeting with the homebuyers.
Bidhayak Rakshit, joint general secretary, Aman Buyers’ Welfare Association, who also attended the meeting informed that the NBCC said that their primary goal is to offer possession of flats to the homebuyers.
On the other hand, sources said that Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC conducted a site survey of the Jaypee projects last week however the CMD himself didn’t give any comment on the same.
The National Building Construction Company informed that the homebuyers have to pay no additional money for any unexpected increase in the super-carpet area. The NBCC also shared a project-wise schedule to develop the stalled projects of the Jaypee Infratech group.
According to sources, the homebuyers demanded that no alternation should be done to all agreements, plans, designs that are signed between the Jaypee group and home buyers.
The sources said that the NBCC has also shown commitment in respect to the agreement of refund seekers with the Jaypee group.
