The Telangana Government took an initiative to turn people towards the ‘walk-to-work’ concept as they recently sanctioned the proposal for developing residential projects in the vicinity of industrial parks.
While addressing the members of the Federation of Telangana Small [MSME] Industries Association [FETSIA], Jayesh Ranjan, the Principal Secretary of Telangana IT and Industries said that we have taken the decision of developing residential projects including townships and dwelling units for the workers on the locations where industrial parks are planned in future.
EV Narasimha Reddy, the Vice Chairman of Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd [TSIIC] and Managing Director said that the State Government will commence deputing land at the MSME [Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises] park which is planned to be developed at Dandu Malkapur of Choutuppal mandal in Yadadri-Bhongir district soon.
He also said that MSMEs will be strengthening as we are earmarking nearly 20-30% land in all industrial parks for them exclusively. Apart from this many MSMEs are planned to be developed in the Telangana State.
Ranjan, the Principal Secretary also asked FETSIA [Federation of Telangana Small Industries Association] members to make use of the latest manufacturing technologies to stay competitive in the market.
PS Ranjan also said that MSMEs should also work with bigger companies located in and around the city and must also try to integrate themselves in the supply chain.
Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan also said that MSMEs should also work in order to utilize their resources to the maximum extent and should stay aware of the environment around.
