The newly appointed nodal officer of GNIDA i.e. Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) will hold a weekly meeting on Wednesday to resolve disputes between the homebuyers and developers. The additional CEO KK Gupta is appointed as a nodal officer by the authority.
Narendra Bhooshan, the GNIDA CEO said that the meetings will be held on Wednesday of every week between 10am–1pm. He also said that the timings for the same can differ depending upon the requirements. The representatives from the departments of planning, urban services, group housing, industrial and Information Technology will attend the meetings. Every representative will address the cornered issues and grievances related to their department and will also ensure fast action of the UP Apartment Act, 2010 on the same.
The GINDA CEO further said that the representative will make sure that RWAs [Resident Welfare Association] are formed in all group housing society and the details of all the elected officials should be uploaded on GNIDA’s website. This website of the Greater Noida Industrial Authority will also share the details of the Act, and information related to the RWAs, their office addresses, email IDs and more.
Apart from this, the nodal officer is also required to prepare a report of each meeting and have to submit the same to the CEO. The residents of Greater Noida are demanding a proper procedure for the redressal of disputes between the builders and the buyers from a long time. The GNIDA has received a huge number of complaints relating to the delays in the construction of properties in Greater Noida west region.
The Greater Noida Industrial Authority also plans to setup a call centre and this center will offer advice on whether to invest or not to invest in certain projects.
