NBCC India [national Building Construction Corporation] opened invitation of tenders for the construction of Amrapali’s residential project. This tender process has been started online and is being called as e-tender invitation in order to complete the construction/rectification of Amrapali group’s housing projects in Noida and Greater Noida. The process started after the directives issued by the Supreme Court.
September 28, 2018, the Supreme Court ordered NBCC to float tenders for the construction of projects of Amrapali under category A and B. After which the NBCC India published an advertisement on October10 and invited e-tenders for Amrapali Sapphire Phase-1, Sapphire Phase-2, Platinum & Titanium, Eden Park and Castle projects.
In a statement issued by the National Building Construction Corporation the company said that the intending bidders are suggested to visit the site location and carry out a comprehensive study of the incomplete works in order to get an understanding of the remaining works.
NBCC estimated the cost of all these residential projects at Rs 109.74 crore and the last date for the submission of the e-tender for these projects is November 14 till 3 pm.
Earlier, the Amrapali group was ordered by the apex court to update them about the company’s total pending dues to both Noida and Greater Noida authority. Also, the Amrapali group was directed by the Supreme Court to submit the details such as the names and assets of all current and former directors in the group. This direction came after the court came to know about non-filing of the particulars by the Amrapali group.
