With a major boost in affordable housing segment in last few years across the country, every city is giving a special focus to this residential sector. Following the same pattern, Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) Chennai, has chalked out an updated Mission 2020 plan giving a distinct emphasis on affordable housing segment.
W S Habib, who has recently assumed the charge as CREDAI Chennai President took an important meeting with rest of the officials. After the meeting, he said that the decision was taken as there is a good demand for affordable homes in the city and neighbourhood.
He further said, “Affordable housing will help in triggering the economy in future. There will also be a focus on improving labour productivity and in-house Research and Development.”
He also said that Mission 2020 will play a pivotal role to streamline real estate industry. It will also promote transparency and establishment of conduit between realtors and homebuyers.
In order to make this mission turn into reality, CREDAI Chennai would work closely with government to help achieve objectives and in ensuring complete transparency.
