The Ghaziabad Development Authority [GDA] is planning to launch a mobile application service to offer an easy platform to the residents to file complaints. This application will be helpful for track the progress of work without visiting the office of Ghaziabad Development Authority.

The mobile application will also make task related to the authority easy as the residents can carry out the work related to property mutation and registration on the same platform.

Amardeep Singh, assistant engineer, GDA said that this mobile application will have several features for the residents.

He further said that this mobile application will work as a single window system for filing complaints and it will be linked with the Janhit portal. This link will make the officials and engineers monitor the work progress.

While explaining the working of this mobile app, he said that the resident has to do a few simple steps. For example, if you wish to file a complaint of non-functional street light then you just have to click the photo of that street light, upload it on the app and tag it under the relevant complaint category section shown in the app.

This complaint will then be sent to the concerned department and action will be taken to resolve the issue.

Amardeep Singh, assistant engineer said that presently, this mobile application can be avail by the Android phone users. However, the Ghaziabad Development Authority is working to launch the same in iOS version.
