Bihar has the latest offering under PMAY Scheme by CREDAI, as this apex body of Real Estate Developers Association of India has decided to construct thousands of affordable housing units in the State by 2022.
State’s Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi welcomed CREDAI [Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India], to work for the development of the housing units. The apex body having more than 12,000 real estate developers as members have also assured the Government for building multiple affordable homes in order to achieve the target of housing for all by 2022.
The CREDAI’s executive committee and governing council said that Bihar has witnessed huge development in past 12 years of Nitish Kumar-led Government and this development can be clearly seen in road, infrastructure, power supply and credit schemes sectors.
Jaxay Shah, the CREDAI’s National President announced to construct 25,000 affordable housing units in Bihar in order to help the State Government to achieve the target of housing for all by 2022 set by the Narendra Modi-led Central Government. Shah also demanded a decrease in circle rates by 25 percent here in Bihar as he said that the Real Estate sector has many more challenges to overcome in this State.
Vijay Kumar Sinha, the Labor and Resources Minister, Chaitanya Prasad, UDHD Principal Secretary, Getamber Anand CREDAI’s National Chairman and Narendra Kumar, Bihar President along with 100 developers from across the country were present at the meeting.
