In a recent development, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced two new residential affordable schemes to allot over 9500 homes in Navi Mumbai. The housing schemes namely- Swapnapurthi Housing Scheme and CIDCO Mass Housing Scheme will provide homes to the low-income group (LIG) and economically weaker section (EWS) category home buyers.

CIDCO Mass Housing Scheme 2019

Under this scheme, the authority will be allotting around 9,249 affordable homes. These units will be available in Taloja, Kalamboli, Ghansoli, and Dronagiri. The price of the flats under LIG category is Rs 25 lakh, while the price of EWS flats is Rs 18 lakh. The registration has already started and the last date to fill the application form along with fees payment is October 19, 2019. The results will be announced on October 30, 2019

Eligibility: Individual earning between Rs 25,001 and Rs 50,000 can apply under the LIG category, while those earning less than 25000 will be eligible to apply under the EWS category. For EWS category, the applicant has to submit a registration amount of Rs 5,000, while Rs 25000 has to be submitted by those filing application under LIG category.

Swapnapurthi Housing Scheme 2019

Under this residential scheme, CIDCO will be offering 619 units under LIG category and 195 units under the EWS category. The flats will be available in Sector 37, Kharghar. The price of the homes under EWS category is Rs 24.9 lakhs, while for LIG applicants the unit will cost 39.1 lakhs. The registration process has already started and the last date to submit the application form along with registration fee is October 7, 2019. The draw will be processed on October 17, 2019.

Eligibility: The eligibility and registration fee for both the category applicants is the same as the mass housing scheme.
