In Gurugram, more than 1,100 homebuyers likely to get possession of their units soon as the Apex builder has resumed working on its residential project.

The homebuyers who invested in Apex Our Homes in Sector 37C, Gurugram are still seeking possession of their flats after a delay of more than two years. This residential project falls under the affordable housing project of the Union Government’s flagship programme of housing for all by 2022.

This project is spread over 10.25 acres and is planned to have 1,136 units. All these dwelling units will be designed in 26 towers. The Apex builder launched this residential project in the year 2012 and has completed 80 percent of the project.

Recently, the news of homebuyers running from pillar to post including to the offices of multiple government agencies, H-Rera and DTCP came into light as these aspiring homeowners are asking for the agencies to intervene for fast completion of the project.

One of the buyers said that in a recent visit to the site, I felt that the construction has gained some momentum and there was a hope to get the possession soon.

The homebuyer also said that the developer also informed us that some changes in the organization were made to ensure quick delivery of the project and thus we are hoping to possession within a year’s time.

The builder said that we have employed 200 workers on the site and the construction work is in full speed. The deployment of workers will be escalated soon and the homebuyers will be regularly informed about the work progress of the project.

The builder said that we are hoping to offer possession of units within six months.

Another homebuyer said that it feels great to see the fast speed of work and now we are expecting to get possession of our unit. However, the home buyer said that the builder should focus on the quality of construction and should not compromise on the same to deliver flats anytime soon.
